Visit from UNSJ

In January, we were visited by Lic. Belén Ariza Sampietro, a doctoral fellow from CONICET supervised by Dr. Sandra López from the Biotechnology Lab at UNSJ, and our researcher Dr. Pablo R. Cortez Tornello. Lic. Ariza Sampietro is pursuing a Doctorate in Medical Sciences at the Universidad Católica Argentina and is engaged in activities within the research line “Andean essential oils in polymeric matrices as a potential biorepellent, sustainable, and environmentally friendly strategy against Triatoma infestans (Klug) (Hemiptera, Reduviidae)”.
