International Project Awarded to Combat Antimicrobial Resistance<\/p>\n
The project RAMBo-3D \u2014 3D-Printed Modular Platforms with Inactivating Capacity for Mitigating Antimicrobial Resistance in Intensive Cattle Farms<\/strong> \u2014 was awarded in the PILAR-RAM 2026 international call.<\/p>\n The initiative aims to develop photoactive polymeric platforms through 3D printing to inactivate microorganisms and mitigate antimicrobial resistance on dairy farms, focusing on the water and effluents associated with production. Taking a One Health approach, it integrates materials innovation, agricultural production, and environmental care.<\/p>\n The project is carried out by researchers from the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences of UNA (Paraguay) and Latitud-LATU (Uruguay), together with researchers from UNRC and the Biomedical Polymers Area of INTEMA (Eng.
