Her work focuses on incorporating terpene extracts with anti-inflammatory properties into electrospun fibers, under the supervision of Drs. Guadalupe Rivero and Julieta Merlo. This collaboration aims to develop new bioactive materials with potential biomedical applications, particularly in tissue regeneration and inflammation control.<\/p>\n<p>Mirian is pursuing her doctoral thesis entitled \u201cStudy of the anti-inflammatory properties of bioactive compounds extracted from the sponge Dysidea robusta for the treatment of osteoarthritis: in vitro and in vivo study\u201d, supervised by Prof. Dr. Ana Cl\u00e1udia Muniz Renn\u00f3 and co-supervised by Prof. Dr. Cintia Cristina Santi Martignago.
