Prof. Sosnik visits INTEMA

Prof. Dr. Alejandro Sosnik, from the Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Nanomaterials Science, Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering, TECHNION–Israel Institute of Technology (Israel), visited INTEMA and delivered a seminar titled “Nanomaterials in Pediatrics.” During his presentation, he shared his broad experience in developing biomaterial-based strategies to improve the treatment of pediatric diseases through nanomedicine and discussed the main challenges in this rapidly evolving field.

About Prof. Sosnik
Prof. Sosnik holds a Pharmacy degree from the School of Pharmacy and Biochemistry (FFyB), University of Buenos Aires (UBA), and an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry from the Casali Institute of Applied Chemistry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. He completed his postdoctoral training at the University of Toronto, Canada. Currently, he is a Full Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the Technion–Israel Institute of Technology, where he founded the Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Nanomaterials Science.
