Researchers from INTEMA visit the Institute of Biomaterials, FAU, Germany
Three researchers from IMTEMA are visiting Institute of Biomaterials FAU, Germany.
Prof. Josefina Ballarre, from the Applied Electrochemistry group, is visiting IB with an Alexander von Humboldt Foundation together with Dr. Julieta Merlo.
They are collaborating with investigators of IB on the development of a new series of bioactive coatings with drug delivery capability for orthopedic and dental applications.
In the framework of a Ministry of Education/DAAD short-term fellowship ALEARG, Lic. Nayla J. Lores, PhD student at INTEMA, Biomedical Polymers Division, is visiting IB and she is working on the cell biology characterization of bioactive glass-biopolymer scaffolds obtained by 3D printing.
